We have a shared belief not to compromise on the quality of the ingredients we use and consistently offer only the best products available to us and the freshest harvest, often gathered from our own farm and garden or foraged by the Chef. Seasonality is at the fore and Adam will only use what is appropriate to each season, often taking direct inspiration from what is available - wild garlic when it arrives along the streams will be incorporated into the menu; game, the most sustainable product of our estate; autumn hedgerow berries for puddings and liqueurs, and so on.

Adam will make everything from scratch and makes no commercial kitchen shortcut - bread, pastries, yoghurt, stocks, pasta, pickles, preserves -  there is always something on the go and the comforting kitchen aromas will create a homely feel to your visit with promise of a delicious dinner in store!

You are always welcome to come into the kitchen to meet with the Chef and chat about what he is cooking for you that day.
