He then went on to work at Haddeo, gaining valuable experience in the management of diverse terrain and high‑quality sporting expectations, before further broadening his skills working in Wales.

A significant chapter of his career was spent at Challacombe, where he served for several years, honing his expertise in rearing, predator control, woodland and moorland management, and the delivery of exceptional sport season after season. His time there reinforced his reputation for attention to detail, strong leadership of keepering teams, and a calm, consistent approach to estate management.

Now returned to Haddeo as Head Keeper, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of game and habitat management, shoot operations, welfare standards, and team leadership. He is known for combining traditional fieldcraft with forward‑thinking environmental stewardship, ensuring the estate continues to deliver outstanding sport while maintaining a balanced and sustainable countryside.
